Overview

How contacts, opportunities, jobs and invoices are connected in Kompot

Everything in the system is built around the contact — a customer, lead or partner. Opportunities, jobs, invoices, tasks, messages and calls are attached to the contact, so the contact page shows the whole history of the relationship.

How a customer moves through the system

  1. A contact appears — from a website request, a call, a message, or added by hand.
  2. An opportunity is created for them and moves through the stages of the sales pipeline.
  3. The customer receives an estimate and, once it is approved, an invoice.
  4. A job (a visit, installation or repair) is scheduled and tasks are assigned to the team.
  5. A payment comes in and the opportunity is closed.

No step is required: if the company does not need estimates or field jobs, those sections are switched off in module settings.
