Kompot is a business system for a small company: customers, opportunities, jobs, invoices, messages and calls in one place. This documentation explains how to use each section.
All screenshots are taken in a demo workspace with made-up data.
Home screen
After sign-in the workspace home page opens. It gathers what needs attention today: overdue tasks, today's events, open opportunities, unpaid invoices and new contacts.
How navigation works
- Top menu — the main sections: Contacts, Opportunities, Jobs, Finances, Tasks, Calendar. Sections that do not fit open from the ⋯ button.
- Search — looks through contacts, opportunities, tasks and invoices at once. Open it with
Ctrl+K(⌘Kon a Mac). - + button — quickly create a contact, opportunity, task or invoice from any page.
- Bell — notifications.
- Sparkles icon — the AI assistant.
- Gear — workspace settings.
Where to start
- Describe your company. During sign-up the assistant asks a few questions and sets the workspace up for your business. You can continue setup at any time — see AI assistant.
- Add your customers. By hand or from a file — see Contacts.
- Set up your sales pipeline with your own stages — see Opportunities.
- Invite your team and assign roles — see Team and permissions.
- Connect your channels: email, phone, messengers — see Communication.
