CRM for Handyman Services

Honey-do lists, half-day visits and repeat households in one system — every faucet, door and shelf from the customer's list on one visit, and paid for the same day.

Free forever for up to 3 users. Paid plans from $199 a month.

What goes wrong, and what we do about it

A handyman sells a morning, not a project. The customer calls about a dripping faucet, and by the time you arrive the list has grown to a sticking door, a ceiling fan and three shelves. Small jobs mean many customers, short visits and a phone that rings while you are under a sink. The quote is given by text, the list changes on site, and the invoice gets written a week later, if at all.

  • The problem

The customer's list of small jobs arrives across five texts and a voicemail.

    In Kompot.ai

Texts, WhatsApp messages and calls land in one conversation log on the contact, and calls are transcribed. Write the list as subtasks on one task — faucet, door, fan, shelves — and tick them off as you work through the house.

  • The problem

You are under a sink when a new customer calls, and they hire whoever picks up.

    In Kompot.ai

An unfamiliar caller is saved as a new contact, so the callback is not buried in your call log. On the Full Service plan a voice agent answers for you, takes the list of repairs and the address, and the summary is waiting when you wash your hands.

  • The problem

On site the customer adds 'while you are here' jobs that never make it onto the bill.

    In Kompot.ai

Add each extra to the invoice from your price list right there on your phone: an hour of labor, a flat-rate item such as hanging a TV, the parts you bought. The customer sees every line before paying.

  • The problem

Receipts for a hinge, a fill valve and a box of anchors disappear in the van.

    In Kompot.ai

Photograph the hardware store receipt and the expense is filled in from the scan. The image stays on the expense, so when you write the invoice that evening the parts are there to bill instead of coming out of your pocket.

  • The problem

Landlords and regulars would hire you again, but you never remind them.

    In Kompot.ai

Keep a field on the contact for the kind of customer — homeowner, landlord, property manager — and the units they own. An email campaign to regulars before winter offers weatherstripping and gutter cleaning, and the booking page lets them pick a free slot.

How one order runs

From a list of small repairs to a paid visit

  1. The list arrives

A call, a text or a website chat lands on the customer's record with the list of repairs and any photos. A first-time caller becomes a contact without retyping the number.

  2. A visit is quoted and booked

Send an estimate with flat-rate items and hourly labor from your price list, or just your minimum visit. The customer approves it and picks a slot on the booking page.

  3. You work through the list

Open the visit on your phone, tick off each repair as a subtask, add photos of the finished work and note anything that needs a second trip or a part on order.

  4. Invoice before you leave

Add the extras and parts, send the invoice with a payment link, and the customer pays by card while you load the van. Unfinished items carry over to the next visit.

Where an AI employee steps in for Handyman Services

  • The moment

A homeowner texts a list: leaky faucet, squeaky door, a pair of blinds to hang.

The AI employee asks for the address and photos of the faucet, checks the items against your flat-rate list in the knowledge base, saves the list on the contact and creates a task for you to confirm the price and the day.

  • The moment

You are on a ladder and the phone rings: a landlord needs a lock changed today.

The voice agent answers, takes the address, the kind of lock and how urgent it is, and transfers the call to you only if your instructions say same-day work should ring through. The summary is saved, and a workflow notifies you.

  • The moment

A customer asks in the website chat whether you do electrical or plumbing work.

The AI employee answers from your list of services in the knowledge base: what you take on and what you refer to a licensed trade. For work you do, it sends the booking page link. Anything unclear goes to you.

How digital employees work

Questions owners ask

How do I keep a long list of small jobs for one customer in one place?
Make one job for the visit and one task with a subtask for each repair. Check items off on your phone as you go. Whatever is left is still on the customer's record when they call to book the second visit.
Can I mix flat-rate items and hourly work on one invoice?
Yes. The price list holds both: a flat price for hanging a door, an hourly labor line, parts. Add any of them to an estimate or an invoice, and the customer pays the total through one payment link.
I work alone. Is this too much system for a one-person business?
You can start small. On the Free plan you keep your customer list and your deals: who called and about which list of repairs. The rest comes with the paid plans, when the phone gets too busy for one pair of hands.
Can customers book a visit themselves?
Yes. The online booking page shows your free slots and the customer picks one. The booking lands on your calendar as a meeting, synced with Google Calendar, and the customer gets an email confirmation and reminders, without a round of texts about which morning suits.
