What goes wrong, and what we do about it

Pressure washing is sold on a quote and proved by a photo. A customer sends a picture of a green driveway, wants a price today and picks whoever answers first. The job itself takes an afternoon, the season is short and crowded, and rain can push a whole week back. After that the customer does not need you for a year — and by then they will call someone else, unless you kept the address, the surfaces and the date.

  • The problem

A quote request arrives with photos and sits unanswered until the evening.

    In Kompot.ai

Messages from the website chat, SMS, WhatsApp and Messenger land in one conversation log and create a contact. Price the job from the per-area rates for concrete, siding and decking in your catalogue and send the estimate while the customer is still comparing.

  • The problem

The customer says the deck was not gray and splintered before; you have nothing to show.

    In Kompot.ai

The crew photographs each surface before starting and after finishing and attaches the photos to the job. They stay on the customer's record with the date, so a damage claim is checked against what the wood looked like on arrival.

  • The problem

A new hire puts a narrow tip on vinyl siding because nobody wrote the method down.

    In Kompot.ai

The job type says whether it is a soft wash or a pressure wash, and the notes name the surface, the mix and the tip. Your method for each surface — roof shingles, stucco, cedar, pavers — is a knowledge base article the crew opens on site.

  • The problem

The driveway you washed last spring is green again and the customer calls someone else.

    In Kompot.ai

Keep the wash date as a field on the customer, next to the finished job and its surfaces. A scheduled workflow creates a task a year on, and an email campaign to the segment of last season's customers offers the same wash again.

  • The problem

The crew finishes while the customer is at work, and the check arrives weeks later.

    In Kompot.ai

When the job is marked done, the office texts the invoice with a payment link and the customer pays by card through Stripe or PayPal from wherever they are. Unpaid washes show as overdue instead of being forgotten in the rush of the season.

How one order runs

From a driveway photo to a paid wash

  1. The quote request

A homeowner messages a photo of the driveway and the siding. A contact is created, and you note the surfaces, the rough area and whether there is an outdoor water tap.

  2. Estimate by surface

The estimate prices each surface from your price list — concrete, siding, deck — and goes out within the hour. When the homeowner accepts it, the wash goes onto the calendar as a job.

  3. Wash day

The crew opens the job, checks the method noted for each surface, takes the before photos, washes, takes the after photos and marks the job done.

  4. Invoice and next year

Once the wash is done, the estimate the homeowner approved is turned into an invoice with a payment link. The wash date stays on the record, ready for next season's reminder.

Where an AI employee steps in for Pressure Washing Companies

  • The moment

A homeowner asks in the website chat for a price to wash the driveway and the front of the house.

The AI employee asks what the siding is made of, how many stories the house has and whether there is an outdoor tap, saves this on a new contact and opens an opportunity with the surfaces listed, ready for you to price.

  • The moment

A booked customer messages on the morning of the wash asking whether rain changes anything.

The AI employee looks up the job and its time window and answers from your rain policy in the knowledge base. If the customer would rather move the wash, it opens a task for the office and replies that the new day will be confirmed.

  • The moment

A property manager calls after hours about washing storefront sidewalks every month.

The voice agent takes the addresses, the surfaces and how often the washes are wanted, and notes any hours when the work must not happen. A new contact is created with the summary of the call, and a workflow notifies you as the owner.

How digital employees work

Questions owners ask

Can I quote from photos without visiting the property?
Yes. The customer's photos arrive in the conversation log, and you build the estimate from your per-area prices and send it back in the same thread. The estimate shows you the moment it is opened and the moment it is approved. Kompot.ai does not measure the area from a photo; you enter it.
Where are the before-and-after photos kept?
On the job. The crew takes them with a phone and attaches them in the browser, and they stay in the customer's history with the date. Posting them anywhere outside Kompot.ai is up to you.
Can I set up repeat washes for commercial customers?
Yes. A storefront or a parking structure on a monthly wash gets a subscription invoice and a signed service agreement, and each wash is a job on the calendar. A scheduled workflow puts a task in front of the office ahead of each wash.
How do I remind last year's customers before the season?
Every past job keeps its date and surfaces on the customer's record. Send an email campaign to the segment of customers you washed last season, and let a scheduled workflow create call tasks for the bigger properties.
