CRM for Hair Salons

Cuts, color and corrections on one calendar — with every formula, developer and processing time written on the client's card, so her color does not depend on one colorist's memory.

Free forever for up to 3 users. Paid plans from $199 a month.

What goes wrong, and what we do about it

In a hair salon a cut takes an hour and a color takes half a day. The formula that gave a client her blonde is on a paper card or in the colorist's head, and a correction after box dye cannot be priced until someone has seen the hair. One no-show for a full lightening leaves a chair empty until evening. Between visits the toner fades and the roots grow, and whether she rebooks in time decides how hard the next appointment will be.

  • The problem

The colorist is on vacation, and nobody else knows the formula behind a client's blonde.

    In Kompot.ai

Write the formula on the contact as custom fields and visit notes: shades, developer strength, mixing ratio, processing time, toner. Whoever takes her root touch-up opens the card and mixes the same color instead of guessing from a photo.

  • The problem

A color correction after box dye cannot be priced by message and takes several sessions.

    In Kompot.ai

Run it as an opportunity: consultation, strand test, sessions. Build an estimate from the price list with each lightening, toner and treatment as a line, and send it. When she approves it, it becomes an invoice, and the desk records each session's payment against it as a partial payment.

  • The problem

A client booked for a full head of foils does not show up, and the chair stands empty all afternoon.

    In Kompot.ai

For long color appointments, send an invoice for a deposit with a payment link before you hold the time. A workflow reminds her by message ahead of the visit, and if she needs to move it, her reply reaches the salon while the slot can still be filled.

  • The problem

The front desk cannot see that a stylist is free for a cut while a color is processing.

    In Kompot.ai

Put the application and the rinse-and-style on the shared calendar as two entries. The processing time between them shows as a gap in the stylist's day, and the desk can drop a men's cut or a bang trim into it without asking across the room.

  • The problem

A blonde's toner fades long before her next lightening, and she comes back brassy and unhappy.

    In Kompot.ai

Save the date of her last toner on the contact. A scheduled workflow sends her a message when a refresh is due and offers a short gloss visit through the booking page. The formula on her card makes that visit quick for any colorist.

How one order runs

From a color consultation to a paid appointment

  1. She sends photos

A new client writes with a picture of her hair now and the shade she wants. Both are saved on her contact, together with her answers about box dye, henna or earlier lightening.

  2. Consultation and quote

After looking at the hair, the colorist sends an estimate from the price list: lightening, toner, bond treatment, cut. She approves it online, and the deposit goes out as a separate invoice with its own payment link.

  3. Color day

The appointment sits on the calendar with its processing time. The colorist records the formula, the developer and how long it stayed on, and adds a photo of the result to the card.

  4. Payment and the next roots

The deposit was its own invoice, so the invoice after the visit covers the balance. Her next root touch-up goes on the calendar, and the toner date starts a reminder.

Where an AI employee steps in for Hair Salons

  • The moment

Late at night someone sends a photo of balayage and asks how much it would cost on her hair.

The AI employee gives the starting price from your knowledge base, asks about length and what color is on the hair now, saves the answers and the photo on a new contact and opens an opportunity for the colorist to offer a consultation.

  • The moment

A client calls to move her color appointment while her colorist is mid-application with bleach.

The voice agent takes the call, notes which visit she means and which days suit her, and saves the recording and summary on her contact. A workflow notifies the front desk, which offers a new time and frees the long slot for someone else.

  • The moment

Two days after her appointment a client writes that the toner looks too ashy.

The AI employee does not argue or promise a fix. It finds her contact, tells her the colorist will reply personally, and creates a task for that colorist with the message and her photo, so the call starts with the formula in front of them.

How digital employees work

Questions owners ask

Where do I keep color formulas so the whole team can read them?
On the client's contact. Use custom fields for the shades, developer, ratio and processing time, and add a note after each visit when the formula changes. Any colorist with access opens the card on a phone at the color bar.
How do I quote a color correction that takes several sessions?
Build an estimate from your price list with each session as its own line and send it after the consultation. You see when she views and approves it. The approved estimate becomes an invoice, and the desk records the payment for each session as a partial payment, so the invoice shows what is still open.
Can I take a deposit for a long color appointment?
Yes. Before you hold half a day for foils or a full lightening, send a separate invoice for the deposit with its own payment link. She pays by card through Stripe or PayPal, and the balance goes on a second invoice after the blow-dry.
Should new color clients book online or come for a consultation first?
Both work. The online booking page lets a client pick a free slot, which suits cuts and root touch-ups. For a big color change, use the page to book the consultation, and schedule the color itself once the colorist has seen her hair.
