What it does

The schedule lives on a whiteboard or in a group chat. A client asks to move the visit, the message gets buried, and the wrong crew turns up at the address while another customer waits at home for nothing. In Kompot.ai each visit is a job: a work order with its type, assignees, time window, customer, address and files. Jobs move through stages, the team shares a calendar that syncs with Google Calendar, and clients book a free slot on a public page instead of calling you.

    A job is a work order with its type, the customer, the address and the files that go with it. Whoever opens the job sees where to go, for whom and what to do, without asking the office.

  • Assignees and a time window

    Each job has assignees and a time window. You see who is going and when, and a job can have several assignees when the work needs a crew.

  • Stages for every job

    A job moves through stages from the moment it is created to the moment it is finished. The office sees how far each job has got without phoning the person on site.

  • A shared calendar

    The team works from a shared calendar, so everyone looks at the same schedule. Meetings are planned there too, so you notice when a consultation would clash with a field visit.

  • Google Calendar sync

    The shared calendar syncs with Google Calendar. People who already plan their day in Google Calendar keep using it and still see their work schedule.

  • A public online booking page

    You get a public booking page to share with clients. A client opens it, sees the free slots and picks one, at any hour and without a phone call to your office.

How it works

  1. Create a job

    Open a new job and fill in its type, the customer and the address. Attach the files the crew will need, such as photos or a floor plan.

  2. Set who goes and when

    Add the assignees and set the time window for the visit. Look at the shared calendar first to see who is free at that time.

  3. Share your booking page

    Give clients the link to your public booking page. They pick a free slot themselves, so a booking no longer depends on who answers the phone.

  4. Move the job through its stages

    The assignee opens the job in the phone's browser on site, and the job is moved from stage to stage as the work goes on, until it is done.

Good to know

  • There is no separate app to download: field staff open their jobs in the phone's browser.
  • Calendar sync works with Google Calendar. If your team plans in a different calendar service, that calendar will not sync.
  • Setup by our team comes with Full Service. On the Free plan you configure the booking page and the Google Calendar sync yourself.

Full Service — $499 a month, up to 25 users — includes every feature, so jobs, the shared calendar, Google Calendar sync and the booking page are all in it, and we set them up for you. The Free plan is $0 for up to 3 users and covers core tools such as contacts and opportunities. Business is $199 a month for up to 10 users, with data migration and reconnection of your integrations.

Questions and answers

Can clients book a time online by themselves?
Yes. You share a public booking page, the client opens it and picks a free slot. They do not need to call or write to you, and they can do it outside your working hours.
Does it work with Google Calendar?
Yes. The shared calendar syncs with Google Calendar, so your team can keep the calendar they already use. Sync is available for Google Calendar and not for other calendar services.
Do my field staff need to install anything on their phones?
No. Kompot.ai runs in a browser, including the browser on a phone. An assignee signs in, opens the job and sees the customer, the address, the time window and the attached files.
Can I send several people to the same job?
Yes. A job has a list of assignees, not a single assignee, so you can put a whole crew on it. Each of them sees the same job with the same time window, address and files.
