CRM for E-commerce Stores
Order questions, returns, wholesale quotes and repeat-purchase emails in one system — so support stops retyping the shipping policy in every inbox.
Free forever for up to 3 users. Paid plans from $199 a month.
What goes wrong, and what we do about it
An online store's support load follows its sales calendar. Black Friday and the winter holidays bring a flood of orders, then a flood of questions about where the parcel is, then a wave of returns in January. The questions come through the website chat, messengers, email and the phone, and most of them repeat. Meanwhile a boutique asks for wholesale prices, and customers who bought once never hear from you again.
The problem
The same question about where an order is gets answered by hand in every channel.
In Kompot.ai
Website chat, WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger and email land in one conversation per customer. Support answers with saved replies, and a public knowledge base category covers delivery times and the returns policy for shoppers who look first.
The problem
A return is agreed in a chat, the parcel comes back, and nobody recalls the terms.
In Kompot.ai
Open a job for each return with stages you define: requested, parcel received, refunded or exchanged. The order number, the customer's photos of the item and the agreed outcome are attached, with one person assigned.
The problem
A boutique asks for wholesale prices and the thread dies after a spreadsheet.
In Kompot.ai
Track the buyer as an opportunity and send an estimate built from your product catalogue. Its status tells you the buyer has opened it and, later, approved it; from there it becomes an invoice with a payment link.
The problem
Customers who ordered once in December never hear from the store again.
In Kompot.ai
Import the customer export from your store as CSV or Excel, with the last order date and what they bought as custom fields. Then send an email campaign to a segment — say, everyone who bought candles before the holidays.
The problem
A supplier promises a shipment date in a messenger and no one remembers which.
In Kompot.ai
Suppliers are contacts with their own conversation history, so the promise is on record. Set a task with the due date for the delivery, and scan the purchase receipt into expenses when the goods arrive.
How one order runs
From a wholesale inquiry to a paid, shipped order
The inquiry lands
A shop owner writes through the website chat about buying in bulk. A contact is created, and you open an opportunity for the wholesale order.
The quote goes out
You build an estimate from the catalogue at wholesale prices and send it. The buyer opens it, and you see the approval come in.
Invoice and payment
With the buyer's approval the estimate is converted into an invoice. The buyer pays it by card through the payment link; a deposit, if you ask for one, is a separate invoice with a link of its own.
Packing and dispatch
A task goes to whoever packs the order. The tracking number is saved in a note and sent to the buyer, and the opportunity is closed as won.
What you keep on record
- Customer list
- Customers imported from your store's export, with last order date, product category and size as custom fields.
- Returns and exchanges
- Each return as a job with its stage, the order number, photos of the item and the agreed refund or exchange.
- Wholesale buyers
- Their price terms and delivery details in fields, estimates and invoices in the history, the signed wholesale agreement as a document.
- Suppliers
- Supplier contacts with every message and call, tasks for expected shipments and scanned purchase receipts in expenses.

Where an AI employee steps in for E-commerce Stores
The moment
During a sale someone asks at midnight which size to order and how long delivery takes.
The AI employee finds the answer in your knowledge base articles — the size chart, delivery times by region, payment methods — and creates a contact. A question those articles do not answer goes to a person in the morning.
The moment
A customer writes on Telegram asking where their order is.
The AI employee looks up the customer's record and replies with what is saved there: the order's stage and the tracking number. If nothing is on record, it creates a task for support and tells the customer a person will reply.
The moment
A customer calls on a Sunday about a parcel that arrived damaged.
The voice agent takes the order number and what is broken and asks the customer to send photos by message. The call summary is saved on the contact, and a workflow creates a task so the return is opened first thing on Monday.
Questions owners ask
- How does Kompot.ai connect to my online store?
- Your store can call a webhook when an order is placed or a form is submitted; a workflow then creates a task, sends a message or notifies someone. Customer lists come in through CSV or Excel import, and a workflow can call an external service in return.
- Can support answer every messenger and the website chat from one screen?
- Yes. Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, website chat and phone calls are kept in one conversation per customer. A shopper who writes from a number you have never seen is saved as a new contact.
- Can I invoice wholesale buyers and take card payments?
- Yes. Send an estimate, convert it into an invoice once approved and share the payment link; Stripe or PayPal takes the buyer's card payment. A wholesale deposit paid online gets an invoice and a link of its own, and a buyer's standing monthly order can go out as a subscription invoice.
- Can an AI employee handle order questions at night?
- On the Full Service plan, yes. It answers in messengers and the website chat from your knowledge base, looks up the customer's records, creates tasks for returns and hands the conversation to a person when it is not sure.
