CRM for Insurance Agencies
Quotes, policies, renewals and signed applications in one system — every client's carriers, policy numbers and expiration dates on a single record.
Free forever for up to 3 users. Paid plans from $199 a month.
What goes wrong, and what we do about it
An agency earns on the first sale and keeps earning on renewals, and renewals are where the money leaks. Expiration dates sit in a spreadsheet, the carrier's notice goes out, and you learn the client has already shopped elsewhere. In between come quote requests that need several follow-ups, certificate requests that are due today, and open enrollment, which packs a year's worth of calls into a few weeks.
The problem
A policy comes up for renewal and you find out when the client has already left.
In Kompot.ai
Carrier, policy number and renewal date are fields on the client. A scheduled workflow gives the account manager a task ahead of that date and sends the client a message, so the renewal review happens before the carrier's notice does.
The problem
An auto quote is emailed to a prospect and nobody follows up.
In Kompot.ai
Every quote request is an opportunity with stages you define: requested, details gathered, quoted, bound, lost. The pipeline board shows what is waiting on the prospect, and each quote carries a follow-up task with a due date.
The problem
A contractor needs a certificate of insurance today and the email sits in one inbox.
In Kompot.ai
Email, calls and messages from the client land in one shared history, not in a personal inbox. The request becomes a task with an assignee and a due date, and the issued certificate is saved as a file on the client's record.
The problem
A client has auto with you, and nobody has asked about home or life.
In Kompot.ai
Mark the lines each household holds in a custom field. A report or a segment shows who has auto only, and an email campaign or a task for the producer starts the conversation at the next renewal.
The problem
Applications are printed, signed, scanned and sent back with a page missing.
In Kompot.ai
Applications, broker of record letters and cancellation requests are document templates with merge fields. They are sent by link for e-signature, both spouses can sign, and the PDF with its audit trail is filed on the client.
How one order runs
From a quote request to a bound policy
The quote request arrives
A call, a chat message or a web form brings the request. The prospect is saved as a contact and the producer opens an opportunity.
Details and quotes
Drivers, vehicles or property details go into the fields. Carrier quotes are attached as files and sent to the prospect, with a follow-up task set.
Application and binding
The application goes out for e-signature. Once the policy is bound, the opportunity is moved to won and the policy number and dates are saved on the client.
Agency fee and renewal
If you charge an agency fee, it is invoiced with a payment link. From then on the renewal date on the client starts the reminder workflow every term.
What you keep on record

Where an AI employee steps in for Insurance Agencies
The moment
A client calls on a Sunday after a fender bender to ask what to do next.
The voice agent takes the client's name, the policy and what happened, reads out the carrier's claims number from your instructions and, if you want it to, transfers the call to the agent on duty. The summary goes on the client's record, and a workflow adds a follow-up task for the account manager.
The moment
A client asks on WhatsApp when their homeowners policy renews.
The AI employee looks up the client's record and gives the renewal date and the carrier. Questions about what the policy covers are handed to a licensed agent; it does not interpret coverage.
The moment
A prospect asks in the website chat for a home and auto quote.
The AI employee collects what the producer needs — address, vehicles, drivers, current carrier and expiration date — saves it on a new contact and opens an opportunity. It does not quote a premium itself.
Questions owners ask
- Can I track several policies and renewal dates for one client?
- Yes. Each policy has its own fields on the client: carrier, line, number, renewal date. A scheduled workflow reads those dates and creates tasks and messages ahead of each renewal.
- Can clients sign applications without coming to the office?
- Yes. Applications and forms are sent by email, link or QR code and signed on any device. Both named insureds can sign, every step is in the audit trail, and the signed application is kept as a PDF on the client's record.
- How do leads from our website quote form get in?
- The form can call a webhook that starts a workflow: it notifies the producer and creates a follow-up task. Prospects who write through the website chat or a messenger become contacts on their own.
- Will the AI employee advise clients on coverage?
- No. Its answers stay within your instructions and knowledge base: office hours, required documents, carrier phone numbers. It collects quote details and passes coverage questions to a licensed person. AI employees are available on the Full Service plan.
